“How to Instantly Tap into 275 Million iPod/iPad/iPhone Users and Instantly Engage Targeted Visitors Between Their Ears, One-Click away from a Google Search Result!”

by Jim Morris

It’s funny how you discover things.

Usually, it just so happens that a few sudden random events can tie together the whole entire understanding of social media or any one of the online disciplines that it takes to run a successful business.

Or one quick search in Google can lead to some unknown discovery and secret that allows you to leap into the heart of Google’s top search results.

Of course, none of this stuff or discoveries actually happen out of the ordinary just like that. There happens to be hundreds, if not, thousands upon thousands of hours of time, study and analysis to arrive at these quick insights.

Lately (having been at this now for over 9 years), I can tell you that the latest discoveries have been fruitful and they’ve been abundant.

The discovery of the Google-Apple SEO effect (or “The GAS Effect”) will change how SEO agencies, Corporate America, small business and boot strap entrepreneurs look at modern SEO for themselves, their clients and overall content distribution.

THE DISCOVERY

Had anyone told me the affect this had in Google, I would have put much stricter attention to this a year ago and uploaded all of my media.

But as I always say — “As we evolve, so we become enlightened.”

Thus far, I have currently done over 50 live and recorded webinars, now coming up on the 80th live show and countless numbers of interviews that were done with others. So I would have uploaded this library stuff a long time ago had I known the power of this effect.

If you haven’t done any kind of multi-media, video, screenshots of some kind, then you are going to miss out a huge chunk of where the internet is going, and that right into the hands of smart phone users that want to see multi-media which means audio and video.

Google puts a lot of stress on video and multi-media, otherwise, it wouldn’t have purchased the broke bandwidth hog, You Tube. And you would also known what exact media Google tends to favor if you listened to the Search Engine Seduction SEO Show Episode Two.

Back to the discovery…

I’m on Google.com doing a search to see if by chance Google had indexed a video I uploaded to Amazon’s S3 Simple Storage Service.

For one, I wasn’t at my main computer, and I couldn’t remember whether I had put a public link to the video which would have gotten the video page indexed by Google. While I was being lazy and needed to review the video, I also was curious to see whether Google actually indexes web pages that are hosted on Amazon’s S3 service.

Interestingly enough, I never found the video I wanted online, but I did find something else.

The search term I used on Google.com to try and find the video when I bumped into this was —–> jim morris doing seo in robe

So as you can see by opening that link up in a new window or looking at the screenshot above, you can see what the first listing is.

That top Google spot comes up as what looks to be a regular HTML page on Google that is located on iTunes massive library of content found on Apple.com.

What’s even more interesting is that when you click on the top line of the Google search engine listing, it launches causes your browser to launch multi-media on the iTunes portion of Apple.com. In fact, Windows users will get a dialog box popup right in front of the browser window like this after just one click from a Google search engine listing…

“WHAT THIS DOES THIS MEAN TO ME JIM?“

What the above means is that:

1. Apple’s iTunes section is will create an HTML page for every single piece of multi-media that you get listed in iTunes and get ranked very easily due to the authority Google places on Apple.com. (NOTE: We are not covering the process of how to get listed on iTunes, but will provide some resources down below).

2. This also means that you have the ultimate control over the keywords and keyword phrases that go into your listing. Quite simply, your title and description comprise the content that Apple’s iTunes section puts in the HTML of the web page they create for your multi-media listings. If you’re truly anal like me and need to have proof of the SEO effect to make sure that the HTML page Apple creates has the episode information on it which I personally entered and have control over, check this screenshot out that reveals the page source code:

3. As you can see up above, the words that you see in the TextPad file window in the forefront is part of the TITLE and the DESCRIPTION of the video that I uploaded to my video hosting center. (NOTE: iTunes does NOT host anything on their server as they are simply checking an iTunes formatted RSS Feed that you must register with them).

4. You can now turn your text content into audio or video (talent can be hired out to voice-over folks) and then get your iTunes content listed in Google’s pages. We already know that Google is extremely hotly seduced by multi-media and high PageRank sites.

5. iTunes now gives you the chance to be one click away from engaging your Google visitors with their eyes (video) and ears (audio and video).

The “Google-Apple SEO” Effect or The GAS Effect

An authority site can be defined in a number of ways. One such definition by Chris Rempel is: “A site that’s useful enough, memorable enough, meaningful enough or controversial enough that… visitor’s will actually tell others about it – involuntarily.”

I’m sure that we could define Apple’s iTunes worthy of fitting that description or definition.

And as Chris Brogan goes onto discuss how web authority is defined, we can certainly say that one of the factors mentioned in this article is quite relevant to how well Google admires a website, one is by showing a high PageRank.

When we take a quick look at Apple.com, we find that it is highly admired and respected by Google as an authority site with a PageRank 9.

Google has indexed 3,890,000 pages just on the iTunes sub-domain alone (at the time of this writing). Volume of content also speaks authority to Google as well.

Apple.com has an Alexa ranking of 52 and it’s software, iTunes, is installed on somewhere over 275 million computers around the world that connect and sync with iPods, iPhones, and now iPads.

To say that Apple.com is a huge magnetic authority site to get Google to rank content fast is an understatement, especially when you can control what content is input on the site.

So any piece of content with the proper keywords affixed to the TITLE and DESCRIPTION of the multi-media uploaded to an audio or video podcasting place can get ranked incredibly fast.

Now, I’m not trying to say that these are high demand keywords that I am getting listed for, this is merely an example. However, if you go type in “keyword research show” or “keyword research live” into Google, you’ll see that my live show takes up about 4 or 5 of the listings, one of those being an Apple iTunes listing.

IRONIC AND CONTROVERSIAL: I think this Google-Apple SEO (GAS) synergy that is occurring before our eyes is quite interesting in its timing given the fact that Steve Jobs relieved Google’s CEO Eric Schmidt from Apple’s board and dueling natures of both companies in the mobile arena (Google Android/Chrome OS and iPhone / MAC OS X Snow Leapard).

However controversial that may have been between the companies, I’ll bank on the fact that Apple’s iTunes content on Google.com will continue to grow on many years into the future and that PageRank 9 will continue to prosper 20, even 50 years into the future. And this means that taking advantage of this huge authority site’s ranking power is ripe for the taking right now.

But first, let’s…

Boost “The GAS Effect” with even More Google Muscle Ranking Power

Anyone who has been on my newsletter since 2004 or taken a digital video course with me since 2005 knows that I preach year in, year out, of how any site can boost it’s individual page’s ranking power with just one simple backlink.

You can simply add some extra ranking power to your iTunes listing once you know the HTML page that iTunes has created for you (similar to the URL in the 1st screenshot above).

All you have to do is use my 10-second RANK-Indexing solution which can be found under the first Google listing and then follow the second indented Google listing below that as a way to get an additional link to your iTunes HTML page (which is from another authority site).

Conclusion: Parting Words

If you didn’t see the huge potential to utilize an incredibly strong authority site like Apple.com (and its Google ranking powers) to post content where you have control over the keywords through the TITLE and the DESCRIPTION, then my parting words won’t have much more of an impact on you.

However, if you do see the huge potential of getting your multi-media content onto iTunes, I am certain you are already learning how to get a podcast up or following the directions down below.

All I can truly say is that you need to either:

1.  Find and upload all of your audio and video content to a hosting provider that can create an iTunes Feed for you (which iTunes requires);

2. Or learn how to create SEO Video without you and without a video camera and without your voice, which is great for hermits and those recluse types that are too shy.

3. Apple.com will actually teach you how to make a Podcast and get it listed on iTunes. And there are other ways to learn if you wish to learn directly from a Master Podcaster.

LIMITED TIME SPECIAL: If you would like to learn from the best on getting your media listed in iTunes and someone who has 325,000+ growing base of subscribers, my partner, Scott Paton, has created a step-by-step, full-length ebook called Podcasting Unleashed. It can be found at Podcasting-Unleashed.com and is sold at the regular price of $97.

However, through my own special business relationship with Mr. Paton, I can offer you a limited time 50% off Podcasting Unleashed by going through this page right here.

Simply reply to the receipt you receive after purchasing through this special page right here and — and you will get a signup link to register at a page that looks like this.

All I can say is just get that content loaded up and listed on iTunes.

Make certain to take time, care and put in the keyword research for your media’s Title and Description which is the most critical.

Here’s an example what some people usually do for their Title and Description:

Title: Episode 1 – The Beginning

Description: This is Episode 1 of The Beginning, part of Totally Uproarious Humor.

I’m sorry, but that’s horrid and no wonder people never get found and get no value whatsoever out of their video submissions.

Okay, so here’s a makeover and what I really think it takes for you to get good results.

Now, be sure to realize that this is just an example and I would obviously do my keyword research before with my own tool, NicheBOT. I would definitely want to search all the different keyword databases to get the overall most popular keywords to use in my title.

So this is what my ultimate makeover example would be like:

Title: How to Make a Person Laugh | Episode One | Jim Morris | Totally Uproarious Humor

Description: In episode one of Totally Uproarious Humor, the creator Jim Morris takes an in depth look at how to make a person laugh and the different scenarios that come into play. Yes, even you didn’t think that this one question that Jim reveals could actually open up the tickle funny bone of someone and open the pathways to make them laugh like a child. Oh boy, you have no clue how much more fun you are going to have with people and become inspired to try these incredible techniques that will turn those who are in a bad mood into an awesome mood. Yeah, people will actually be thanking you for spoiling their bad mood and bring some brightness, laughter and cheer into their world. You may even find a way or two to help you overcome those looming bad moods that tend to spoil your day. Look at it as a way to tickle your own funny bone and those of others around you.

DISCLOSURE: While I want to stress that ALL of the above was completely made up and none of it really exists, that I know of, but I also want you to see how appealing these types of descriptions can be for individuals at the search engine level or even when they land on the page. The above description was made to tease you and the visitor to want to watch the video that then informs and directs the visitor where to move on. Remember, that you constantly want to be directing the visitor to an end goal in mind.

Lastly, let’s consider all this takes.

A piece of audio or video.

A title and description.

Let’s not forget — you would take the time to create your own web page full of content anyways. That’s why it’s important to take the effort to right a good description and also have good keyword tags.

This little bit is all the content you need for your multi-media to get ranked in Google, deliver the message. The content is an important ingredient that search engine spiders snack on as their s food and tells them the full range of what your audio or video is about.

Right now, I’ve got probably around 79 episodes under my name in iTunes, but I can tell you that will be sharply increasing for the remainder of 2010 and well well beyond into the sunset.

I’ll see you on the other side!

Or: How to Legally Steal and Acquire All the Video/Audio Content You Could Ever Wish to Have At Your Disposal; Royalty-Free and Ready to Use

It’s a fact.

Google loves multi-media content on your web page.

So much so, they bought the struggling You Tube back when it couldn’t afford it’s excessive bandwidth and no plans to monetize the site. Perhaps Google gleaned just how important video would be in 2010.

Did I just say “important”? My mistake.

It’s now over five years since You Tube was founded (February 2005), launched later in November, and video was much the word in 2007 (mainly because Google purchased Yahoo about a year after YouTube launched).

In some circles, it’s been a “must” since 2008 and I’m going to say that it’s literally “mission critical” now in 2010 to have some shred of video content that engages your visitor.

Even if you don’t want to engage your visitor, you need to produce video, or find it somewhere in order to submit to video sites for backlinks.

You see, video and video submission sites like DailyMotion.com, YouTube.com, Revver.com, and a bunch others are becoming a double-edge sword, much like Article Directories.

You get passive SEO benefit from some of the video submissions that pass along some PageRank and then there’s the fact that the video you submit itself can rank (as we’ve seen with LGMSH, especially if you pamper the video with a proper title and description.

Google, nor any of the other search engines, can’t READ the video content or media you upload, but they can read the title you give the video, including how elaborate you are in the description. (I have found the description to be key especially for nesting a hyperlink back to my site).

In some of the sites, you can place your site URL, your Twitter, your FaceBook, or whtaever you want to promote, and sometimes you can even drop a link in your description that gets followed by the search engines.

It’s been well known for some time. Having some You Tube video on your site can even favor a higher listing on Google than your competitors.

So why aren’t you using it, or at least submitting some to video sites?

Well, I used to think that it was because I actually had to make my own video in order to submit a video.

Someone hit the buzzer for Jim!

I’ve taken a survey from hundreds of individuals and they told me that they just don’t have time to create video content.

Not only can you find video, audio, text, content, media, PDFs, public domain stuff, pictures, you don’t even have to record a lick of video footage yourself.

No one even has to see your face or hear your voice for you to be as sexy and seductive as you can be.

You sexy and seductive? Sure — with this kind of video, it’s easy.

Click play on the video below to begin uncovering your new sexy, seductive side that you can now use for Video SEO purposes (this is also a companion to LGMSH2):

Conclusion

By the time, you finish the 5-part video series up above, you will discover the following:

1.  Where to search in order to find, acquire and use content for video submissions, especially for LGMSH 2;

2. The free software you need in order to download just about any video from You Tube or anywhere on the internet and have it ready for video submission with the proper title and description.

3. How to create and publish video without shooting one minute of video

4. Unlimited free video hosting and screenshot hosting

5. Drag and drop uploading of multiple videos together with how to fill out the submission form and how to drop a link in the proper area of the form.

When discussing the sources up above in the comments below, please refer to them vaguely as LGMSH 1, LGMSH 2, or directly to Video 1, 2, 3, 3b, 4 or 5 above.

Enjoy and use responsibly.

It was just a couple of weeks ago that my 10-Second RANKindexing Solution was shared with MasterMind members.

Many have gone to town with this technique after seeing the proof of rankings in hours, not weeks or months.

Not only was it shared, I took you through and showed how it was done step-by-step in a real live ranking example.

Top search engine rankings were achieved with double-indented Google listings done in 8 days on a hotly searched and trending topic.

You can see for yourself the illustrated experiment from day 1 forward and all the conversation that ensued in the Search Engine Seduction Strategies documented post entitled “Lightning Fast Google Ranking in Olympic Record-Breaking Time.”

So I can hear you asking yourself, perhaps still confused after reading the two enlightening articles above…

What is a RANKindexing solution?

Well, many brand new webmasters come online expecting quick hits to their website (without spending any money) and, of course, the resulting quick profits. Problem is…

None is to be the case!

Newbies tend to find it hard to get their site indexed in Google.com (having your web pages actually listed is the first step to get inside Google.com).

Newbs then find it immensely difficult to even getting a top ranking in Google. (87% of the problem is the wrong choice of keywords or choosing keywords too difficult and not within the buying cycle of a visitor).

The RANKindexing solution takes care of two specific problems:

Immediate Indexing – It takes immediate care of getting a specific web page indexed, or listed in Google.com’s massive listing of web pages. Before any web page can get ranked, it must be found by Google, Yahoo and Bing.com. Most webmasters suffer this fate alone. The way to find out if you have certain web pages on your site listed in Google is to type in the following into the home page of Google.com: site:http://www.yourdomainhere.com This will reveal whether the right pages are at all listed within Google.com. If you have a page or pages not listed in Google, then you should use the 10-Second RANKindexing solution to take care of that. Second benefit is…

Immediate Ranking Power – While getting a desired web page into Google is critical, the RANKindexing Solution goes even further by giving an additional ranking boost and benefit. Because of the source used in the RANKindexing Solution, there is incredible ranking power given to the web page that is used in this technique. So you can reasonably achieve a top 10 Google Ranking within 48 hours of using the RANKindexing Solution on a mediocre keyword phrase with a reasonable competing number of websites. (More difficult keywords are going to required extra leg work.)

And what kind of web pages does the RANKindexing solution work on?

You can use this technique on any kind of web page.

Let me repeat that. This is not just for web pages on your site.

It works on any kind of web page that is currently not listed inside Google.com’s massive index (including Yahoo and MSN). Among those types of web pages are:

Your own web pages

Other people’s web pages that have your content on it

Directory listings

Articles you have submitted (most of these do not get indexed and therefore can’t get ranked)

Third party blogging properties

Press releases

Anything that basically has a proper web address like: http://www.webaddress.com

And this RANKindexing Solution is all made possible due to a phenomenon that still occurs around the Internet at large.

This phenomenon is called an LGMSH which is short for “Large Gaping Magnetic Spider Hole.”

What is an LGMSH?

An LGMSH is a website that has a high Google PageRank; it allows for webmasters like you and I to sign up for a user account (with a valid email address); and then allows us to publish content in the form of text, audio or video on the site with a link pointing back to the site we wish to get ranked in Google.

This posted content can be either (1) displayed in a Profile of some sort or (2) the media you post is released into a “content stream” that is exposed to heavy Search Engine Spider Activity. (See Twitter video below).

All the more popular sites like Digg.com, Delicious.com, Propeller, Technorati all used to be an LGMSH at one time or another before someone shut down the magnetic spider holes by using NO FOLLOW links.

We want to find the high PageRank, less popular sites that are flying under the radar and can still pass some of that juice onto our sites, and, more specifically, directly at specific web pages.

Much like with the 10-Second RANKindexing solution, sometimes when these sites allow you to post content, it gets released into a “content stream” that is sitting on a web page with a PageRank 2 to PageRank 6 or higher (illustrated in detail in 10-Second RANKindexing Solution).

The next critical factor that really makes a website an excellent LGMSH candidate is the following:

Any outbound links you place within the content that is posted on the LGMSH site are allowed to be followed by search engine spiders (aka DO FOLLOW links).

This last element is what makes LGMSH’s very special (and powerful). A Do Follow link from a site that has authority ends up passing on some of that juicy authority onto your site (known as “link juice“).

A Master of Search Engine Seduction (MOSES) understands that these less popular sites are the ones that have these LGMSH attributes (as most of the popular ones like Twitter are shut down). The MOSES also realizes that the sites that are discovered are Golden and must be treasured and kept to ourselves. As a Niche Rockets MasterMind Member, that is a given.

As a subscriber, you vow to use this information ethically, take it to your grave and not to share it anyone that could jeopardize the source. This is all done so that we may continue to reap the benefits.

Our cautiousness has been marked in Internet History (discussed below) and is one of the main reasons why the 1st LGMSH was not revealed in public and neither will the 2nd one that will be revealed shortly below.

Unfortunately, there have already been a number of irresponsible people that have been misusing the first source and threaten its very existence and Google ranking power. They will be dealt with appropriately.

So let’s take a look back into history at a perfect example, Twitter.com.

Back before Twitter was a household name in September 2008, you were able to put an outbound link in your profile. People took advantage of that until it was shut down with a No Follow link.

Then someone realized that you could put a Do Follow link in your bio section (which is right underneath the link in your profile here):

The red “X” marks reflect no follow links in the content

The Do Follow link that was able to be placed in your Twitter bio made this site an LGMSH (note: it no longer is).

As was covered by Rae Hoffman in September 2008, Google Engineer Matt Cutts spotted this post, alerted a founder of Twitter and shut down the DO FOLLOW link that users could post in the bio section of Twitter.

This shut down a major LGMSH.

However, there are many of these LGMSH’s still available to use and still get ranking power to your site.

Did you know that Netflix has a forum board and is one of those places that allows you to place a do follow link from your own profile that you setup after signing up?

That’s just one of 127 other places that I get links from to all of my sites using myseoslave.com.

So now that we’ve really laid the foundation of understanding what the RANKindexing Solution does and how to spot an LGMSH, it’s time to reveal the second powerful LGMSH.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LGMSH 1 and LGMSH 2

First, I wanted to point out the quick difference between the first source and the new source about to be revealed.

The first source only allowed to put your URL in the active hyperlink so it would actually look like this in the content posted: “http://www.mydomainname.com/web-page.html.”

The problem with this is that you aren’t able to control the anchor text or even use any keyword phrase within the hyperlink. (A perfect example of anchor text is the highlighted link in this sentence).

With this second LGMSH, you are able to place a keyword phrase in the hyperlink rather than just the actual URL of the web page.

What we will also discuss is the using the factor of link stacking that is incredibly powerful when using both of these properties in synergy.

MasterMind Members Videos

In the first video, I explain how to use the 2nd LGMSH and completely set it up.

The second video takes a look at how members are using the 1st LGMSH in the wrong manner. I give live critiques in this 23 minute video below.

[NOTE: To continue reading, you should be (1) logged into your Member Account and refresh this page, or (2) grab a MasterMind account before accounts become unavailable.]

Please login or register to view this content.

Joining us at Niche Rockets is our special partner and SEO Search Expert, Scott Hendison.

Scott is the CEO of Search Commander, Inc. and he is a fanatical WordPress user like me.

Both Scott and I have co-ventured on a site that is geared toward transferring and transforming my NicheBOT newsletter list that has run for about 4 years over to a broader topic area.

I will discuss certain strategical decisions of why I made this move within the forum (one of which I can tell you is to separate the information from the actual brand itself and build a separate brand itself), and I’ll explain in full detail why this was the best idea and how I came up with the strategy for Search Engine Seduction Strategies and the entire concept behind it.

Actually — I’ve already eluded to it, but not about the marketing strategies behind it (the main thrust of which is pretty apparent up above).

Nonetheless, Scott not only brings with him many skills besides being a WordPress fanatic like me, he’s a polished WordPress plug-in developer (and you’ve GOT to try out his WPCoreTweaks plugin that takes care of every tweak you want in ONE click) — and he is also a polished software developer while running a full-time SEO firm specializing in Local Search in Oregon.

I could go on and on to say a bunch more about what a good guy Scott is, but I’ll just go ahead and introduce him in the most recent audio we did together over at Search Engine Seduction about linking and what Google wants to see in 2010.
