Hemorrhoids In-depth Site Optimization with Copy Critique

March 5, 2010 by Jim Morris · Leave a Comment

This can be a touchy and sensitive topic, but just a couple weeks ago, MasterMind Member Timothy Kessler did what anybody wanting to get more out of their site would do.

Timothy decided to put himself on the line to face the ultimate critic (me) about the site he setup about Hemorroids.   He started off:

Hi Team Mates,

Just finished my website Quick Hemorrhoids Cure.  Hope you can spend a little time telling me honestly what you think about it and where I can improve it.

The site contains a couple of Adsense links and an Opt In for a free eBook I wrote.  Here’s the link:

Of course, we’ve omitted the link because this is open on the public blog, but I dished out an 8 page report in the MasterMind Area.

We first tackled the aesthetics and how he could potentially improve conversions on Adsense income and how to properly position his optin box with further enhancements.

In part two, we tackled the areas of the site where copyrighting was not potentially as powerful as it could be.  The point of writing web copy in a powerful manner is to draw a response that you desire toward a profitable action.

If you are not using powerful web copy, you can only expect the results you’re getting now, and no more.

You can watch step-by-step as we take Timothy’s site and turn it into a rocket powered conversion site on Hemorrhoids (or is that Steroids?).

But it still hurts talking about the topic while I’m sitting here.  :D
