It’s funny how you discover things.

Usually, it just so happens that a few sudden random events can tie together the whole entire understanding of social media or any one of the online disciplines that it takes to run a successful business.

Or one quick search in Google can lead to some unknown discovery and secret that allows you to leap into the heart of Google’s top search results.

Of course, none of this stuff or discoveries actually happen out of the ordinary just like that. There happens to be hundreds, if not, thousands upon thousands of hours of time, study and analysis to arrive at these quick insights.

Lately (having been at this now for over 9 years), I can tell you that the latest discoveries have been fruitful and they’ve been abundant.

Google loves multi-media content on your web page.

So much so, they bought the struggling You Tube back when it couldn’t afford it’s excessive bandwidth and no plans to monetize the site. Perhaps Google gleaned just how important video would be in 2010.

Did I just say “important”? My mistake.

It’s now over five years since You Tube was founded (February 2005), launched later in November, and video was much the word in 2007 (mainly because Google purchased Yahoo about a year after YouTube launched).

In some circles, it’s been a “must” since 2008 and I’m going to say that it’s literally “mission critical” now in 2010 to have some shred of video content that engages your visitor.

Even if you don’t want to engage your visitor, you need to produce video, or find it somewhere in order to submit to video sites for backlinks.

You see, video and video submission sites like DailyMotion.com, YouTube.com, Revver.com, and a bunch others are becoming a double-edge sword, much like Article Directories.

You get passive SEO benefit from some of the video submissions that pass along some PageRank and then there’s the fact that the video you submit itself can rank (as we’ve seen with LGMSH, especially if you pamper the video with a proper title and description.

Google, nor any of the other search engines, can’t READ the video content or media you upload, but they can read the title you give the video, including how elaborate you are in the description. (I have found the description to be key especially for nesting a hyperlink back to my site). :D

In some of the sites, you can place your site URL, your Twitter, your FaceBook, or whtaever you want to promote, and sometimes you can even drop a link in your description that gets followed by the search engines.

It’s been well known for some time. Having some You Tube video on your site can even favor a higher listing on Google than your competitors.

So why aren’t you using it, or at least submitting some to video sites?

Well, I used to think that it was because I actually had to make my own video in order to submit a video.

Someone hit the buzzer for Jim! :P

I’ve taken a survey from hundreds of individuals and they told me that they just don’t have time to create video content.

Not only can you find video, audio, text, content, media, PDFs, public domain stuff, pictures, you don’t even have to record a lick of video footage yourself.

No one even has to see your face or hear your voice for you to be as sexy and seductive as you can be.

Hemorrhoids In-depth Site Optimization with Copy Critique

This can be a touchy and sensitive topic, but just a couple weeks ago, MasterMind Member Timothy Kessler did what anybody wanting to get more out of their site would do.

Timothy decided to put himself on the line to face the ultimate critic (me) about the site he setup about Hemorroids.   He started off:

In part two, we tackled the areas of the site where copyrighting was not potentially as powerful as it could be.  The point of writing web copy in a powerful manner is to draw a response that you desire toward a profitable action.

If you are not using powerful web copy, you can only expect the results you’re getting now, and no more.

Scott Hendison – Welcome our SEO Search Expert and PubCon Speaker

Joining us at Niche Rockets is our special partner and SEO Search Expert, Scott Hendison.

Scott is the CEO of Search Commander, Inc. and he is a fanatical WordPress user like me.

Both Scott and I have co-ventured on a site that is geared toward transferring and transforming my NicheBOT newsletter list that has run for about 4 years over to a broader topic area.

I will discuss certain strategical decisions of why I made this move within the forum (one of which I can tell you is to separate the information from the actual brand itself and build a separate brand itself), and I’ll explain in full detail why this was the best idea and how I came up with the strategy for Search Engine Seduction Strategies and the entire concept behind it.

My RANKindexing Solution Explained and How to Spot Gaping Spider Holes

Without inbound links, your site is dead in the water and no way to gain any search engine power, let alone any search engine rankings that may be worth their weight in salt.

Don’t settle in 2010 – Get Ratchet – Tony Robbins explains

Okay, so I know this is not like a site on hip hop in any way shape or form. But…

I’ve said before, and I’ll say it again (repetition is the mother skill Tony says), you can have all the tools and the software and the employees, but if you don’t have the mindset and the mentality to use your hardware, software or even employees (outsourcing), you may just be setting yourself up business bankrupting.

Look, these past few years have seen absolutely NO STANDARDS and NO EXPECTATIONS of you as a Niche Rockets member.

Things were just sorta, you know, status quo (and I get really unsettled when that happens).

But that is all coming to an end because there is just no way that any living, breathing thing can ever get to where they are going quicker than by having breakthroughs through intervention.

And status quo — that just won’t cut it.

You’ve got to come big – you’ve got to bring your game.

And if you don’t know how to shape your game, find someone who can help you shape it.

Look — meager goals, average goals are fine.

I don’t think everyone needs to do $500,0o0 a year in revenues.  But even if you want to do $2,000 a month in net affiliate profits.

In order to reach even meager goals and dreams, you have to shoot higher than the actual goal, or you will be surprised when you get see that 1/10th is all you got as a return on your efforts.

So, for 2010, all Niche Rocket members need to get “Ratchet.”

Now, you may say — have you downright lost it Jimdog?

In fact, it’s a hip hop term on the streets and my favorite life coach (whom I listened to while in my car before ever making my first six figures) Tony Robbins breaks down and explains the 3 Rules to Getting Ratchet so all the brothers on the street understand.

But this public service message can cover all aspects or your affiliate marketing business and your business mindset in general.
